ELAC
At Shadow Hills Elementary, the English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a vital part of our school community. This committee works to ensure that our English learner students receive the support and resources they need to succeed academically and socially. The ELAC provides a platform for parents of English learners to collaborate with school staff, share feedback, and help shape the policies and practices that support these students.
We encourage all parents of English learners to participate in ELAC, as your voice is essential in making decisions that directly affect your child’s education. By being a part of this committee, you help guide the development of programs that ensure the academic success of English learners, from language development to school climate. Your involvement also fosters stronger school-family partnerships, which is critical in supporting our students' growth and achievement. Together, we can make a positive impact on our students’ educational journey!
