MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
July 31, 2024
Dear Shadow Hills Families,
Welcome to the start of an exciting new school year! We are thrilled to open our doors once again and look forward to a year filled with growth, learning, and numerous opportunities for all our scholars. Our commitment to fostering a supportive and enriching environment remains steadfast as we aim to make this year one of our best yet.
This year, we are excited to continue our implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Our focus will be on reinforcing the four "Be's": Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Safe, and Be Kind. These principles are fundamental to creating a positive school culture and ensuring that every scholar can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Aligned with our motto, "A university mindset begins here," we are dedicated to inspiring our scholars to aim high and develop a lifelong love for learning. We believe that with the right mindset, every scholar can achieve greatness.
We encourage our families to take an active role in their scholar's education. To facilitate this, we will be offering various opportunities for you to stay connected and involved. Join us for "Chats with the Principal," participate in the "English Learner Advisory Committee," contribute to the "School Site Council," and engage with the PTA. Additionally, we have a calendar full of exciting school events planned throughout the year, and we hope to see you there.
Let's make this school year an amazing journey for our scholars. Together, we can support and inspire our scholars to reach their highest potential.
Here's to a fantastic year ahead!
Warm regards,
Leonard Fisher, Principal
